Large land parcels that have sold recently have been off their list prices, but still fairly priced, making both buyers and sellers happy. Demand for commercial properties continues to be high.

Government has been on a buying spree over the past 8 years and spent over $25 million buying back land for various purposes in 2025. We support this initiative because their purchases are geared toward conservation, waterfront land for public purposes and parks. We just have to make sure that what they do with the land is prudent and development of any land is not careless spending. We feel confident this government will keep their spending in check.
