SUMMER UPDATE - OVERVIEW
Summer is not as bad as some may be thinking: lots of activity with tourism, restaurants, events and overall great weather for watersports activities. We had a passing visit from Hurricane Beryl and created very minimal damage overall. Since then, July had some rainy moments that then brought the heat and sunny skies, and the Saharan Dust has been creating some breathtaking sunsets.
So yes it is HOT…and so is our restaurant scene. Check out www.CaymanGoodTaste.com for events happening throughout August. From Kaibo to Nova (West Bay’s latest hot spot), you’ll find cool dining experiences to ward off a bit of the 90-100’ weather we are having.
ISLAND INSIGHTS - THE SKY IS THE LIMIT
Many 10-story buildings are now well underway and as we have mentioned before, our skyline is changing quickly. Grand Hyatt, Lacovia, ONE GT, and nearly-finished Aqua and now finished SeaCrest are prominent properties we see along the Seven Mile Corridor. Moving east, the now-completed Bahia in South Sound fills up the tail end of South Sound.
