High-end sales are still moving, buyer activity remains strong, and March has opened at an impressive pace.
February was busy both in terms of sales and the properties that went under contract. Several big sales happened, indicating that the high-end market continues to move at a good pace and investor confidence remains strong locally and internationally.
We have seen land prices trend down a bit over the past few months. You’ll see some of that reflected on the sales list, but in the past 30 days there have been 55 price reductions.
In a nutshell, activity is strong, sales are brisk, and we are leaning towards a buyer’s market across the board. We won’t see a drastic drop in the market at all. We’re humming along nicely and will continue the steady course we are on.

The market niche that tends to be the busiest is properties up to US$2M: there are 894 homes, condos, parcels of land, businesses and warehouses/commercial properties available.
The figures will make your head spin but honestly there is a limited amount of properties with certain criteria actually available. These range from single family homes under CI$1M (less than 20), land under CI$200,000 (less than 80) and the demanding commercial land (4).
